“Acousmatic Foley” is practice-based research on sound dramaturgy stemming from musique concrète and Foley Art. This article sets out a theory based the concept of “son-en-scène”, which forms sonic content mise-en-scène, as perceived (esthesic sound). The departs well-known features soundscape (R. M. Schafer, 1999) listening modes in film asserted by Chion (1994), order to arrive at three main concepts: sound-prop, sound-actor sound-motif. Throughout their conceptualization, study theorizes that focuses sounds themselves practical influence film's story-telling elements. For that, it conveys an assessment film-history “montage attractions” foley art, together with principles acousmatic listening. concludes film-sound should be designers what “sonorous object” concrète, albeit conveying all sound’s fictional aspects.
